The editors of Government Technology magazine and e.Republic recently named NextRequest to their inaugural GovTech100 list of the most innovative companies focused on government. As GovTech mentions, “Something happened to civic tech in 2015. It grew up quickly.” NextRequest is proud to be part of this growth.

The companies on this list provide tools and services to tackle the full spectrum of government functions and we’re excited to see many of our friends and colleagues honored as well. Some of our favorites include other Code for America alumni and supporters:

  • ArchiveSocial - Social media archiving for governments
  • OpenCounter - Improves the business permitting process
  • Neighborland - Increases engagement and collaboration for community initiatives
  • Neighborly - An investment marketplace for your local community
  • Remix - Helps transit agencies plan better transit

The NextRequest team is honored to be part of the GovTech100 and is excited to be working on tools that make it easy and efficient to access public records.
